Today, the Akimat of the Karaganda region hosted a visiting meeting of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic “Development of medical science. Medicine of the future: new horizons“. The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Health, Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akim of the Karaganda region, academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, heads of universities and research institutes, representatives of local executive bodies, medical and public organizations, as well as the media. During the meeting, various aspects of the development of research activities in the field of medicine and healthcare of the country were discussed. The participants discussed innovative solutions aimed at sustainable financing of healthcare, including the introduction of new technologies, digital platforms and mechanisms that enhance transparency and efficiency of the health insurance system.
