In order to implement activities carried out within the cooperation agreement concluded between Semey Medical University and I.K. Akhunbayev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology S.B. Maukayeva delivered a course of lectures on the discipline “Particularly dangerous infections” for 5th year students, studying on “Medical and Preventive Medicine” specialty at I.K. Akhunbayev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy from 07.10.2024 to 11.10.2024 within the framework of the academic mobility program. The lectures were devoted to the issues of epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of particularly dangerous infections prevalent in Kazakhstan: anthrax, brucellosis, tick-borne encephalitis, Congo Crimean hemorrhagic fever and tularemia.
