On the 18th of October within the framework of the II International Med-Congress «Man and Health. Multidisciplinary approach in medicine» in the conference hall of the «Regional Centre of Phthisiopulmonology and Infectious Diseases» of the Health Department of the Abay region in a mixed format held a master class «Cytomegalovirus infection. Features of diagnostics and treatment in adults and children».

The master – class was organised by candidate of medical sciences Efendiyev I.M., candidate of medical sciences Mansurova A.A., associate professors Kudaibergenova N.K. and Maukayeva S.B. Listeners of the seminar: teachers of the department of children’s infectious diseases and the department of infectious diseases, dermatovenerology and immunology, infectious disease doctors (children, adults) of Abay region, residents, interns, students. 72 listeners took part.

The reports were made by: Kulzhanova Sholpan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology «Medical University of Astana» and Alshynbekova Gulsharbat, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Phthisiology «Medical University of Karaganda».

Efendiyev Imdat, Head of the Department of Children’s Infectious Diseases, Candidate of Medical Sciences made a closing speech.
