On October 17, 2024 in the framework of the II International Med-Congress “Man and Health.  Multidisciplinary approach in medicine“ in the main building of NCJSC “SMU” was held a sectional meeting on the theme: Infectious diseases: lessons of the XXI century”. The organizers and moderators of this section № 7 were candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of the department of infectious diseases, dermatology and immunology Nuralinova G.I., assistant of the department of children’s infectious diseases Smailov E.S. In this event with a report was made by m.m.s., assistant of the department of children’s infectious diseases Kumarbekova A.K. on the topic: “Clinical features of enterovirus infection in children in the city of Semey”. The clinical and laboratory characteristics of EVI in children for the epid season of the current 2024 were presented. There were also representatives of other countries: Associate Professor A.A. Muravyev, Candidate of Medical Sciences, employee of the Research Institute of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy “Smolensk State Medical University”, Russia, as well as S.V. Chechetova, E.A. Radchenko, M.K. Mambetova, employees of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases “Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbayev”, Bishkek.

At the end of the meeting, A.K. Akhmetova, M.D., and N.K. Sultanova, M.D., made closing remarks.
