During the visit to the NAO “MUS”, the Senators got acquainted with the Museum of the History of the University. Chairman of the Board-Rector of NAO “MUS” Altai Dyusupov acquainted the guests with the history of the museum, exhibits, told about rectors, deans, the history of the university. The automated information system of the university, introduced this year, was also presented to the guests.
During the visit, the senators visited the educational and clinical center, the Department of Simulation Technologies. The head of the university and the head of the UCTS showed classrooms, simulators, students demonstrated their knowledge and skills.
After that, the Senators took part in the grand opening of the new academic building of the university. The building area is 1,450 sq. m. There are 30 classrooms in the building, which can accommodate about 400-450 students. To date, there are 3 departments in the building: public health, nursing, propaedeutics of internal diseases and partially the Department of Dental disciplines.
The delegation then visited the University Hospital. An important discovery also took place at the University Hospital – an X-ray endovascular operating room was opened, where an angiograph from Allengers (India) was installed. The installation of the device will expand the possibilities in the treatment of patients and develop hybrid technologies, as well as improve the quality of X-ray endovascular operations and medical care.
