Training games for students in dormitory №3

As part of the implementation of the Saturday Events Plan approved by the management of SMU, on November 2, 2024, an interesting training session aimed at uniting students was held in the lecture hall of the hostel. This training was conducted as part of an educational and cultural-leisure event aimed at uniting students.Participants were divided into teams of 5, allowing them to develop teamwork skills.

The first stage of the training was “Getting to Know Each Other,” where students introduced themselves by stating their names and describing themselves with a word starting with the same letter as their name. Then, in the “Building a Bridge” game, participants were tasked with creating a creative bridge in 20 minutes using paper, tape, scissors, and markers.

The next stage was the “Mime” game, where one participant from each team tried to convey a word from a card using only gestures. This game greatly contributed to the development of communication and confidence.

Following that, in the “Whisper” game, teams lined up in a chain and whispered sentences to each other. This game tested the accuracy of communication.

Finally, participants were presented with a quiz, where they answered questions for a chance to win. After the training stages were completed, the jury counted the points and determined the winning teams, which were awarded certificates and prizes.

In conclusion, the head of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Assel Zhanartassovna Baibussinova, delivered a congratulatory speech, thanking the participating students as well as the instructors who organized and conducted the training.
