On October 03, 2024, an Olympiad was held at our university, organized by Kurumbayev Ruslan Rashidovich, associate professor of the Department of GMP and 5327 groups. It was attended by all 5th year students of the speciality “General Medicine” of the Russian, Kazakh and English groups, who are taking the discipline of GMP. The purpose of the Olympiad is to identify and increase the number of talented students who are actively engaged in creative and intellectual activities, as well as to consolidate, improve and deepen knowledge in the discipline.

The following jury were invited: Doctor of Medical Sciences Kazymov Maksut Sovetovich, assistant Muratova Fatima Kadyrzhanovna, and professor Shalgumbaeva Gulnar Metallovna. 15 people who wanted to participate were selected, who made up 3 teams. 1 team -“Adrenaline”; 2 team – “Medicos”; 3 team – “Zhurek”. The Olympiad was held in 3 stages.

The first stage was the “Quiz”, which involved the selection of boxes for scoring points. According to the results of the points, the Adrenaline team became the leaders. The 2nd round of the Olympiad was based on clinical situational tasks. The students successfully completed the tasks assigned to them, and prizes were awarded for each correct answer. In the 3rd round of the Olympiad, the students demonstrated their knowledge through laboratory and X-ray studies.

According to the results of the points accumulated during the Olympiad, the team “Adrenaline” came out on top with 135 points. The second place went to “Zhurek” with 130 points and the third place to “Medicos” with 105 points. According to the decision of the jury members, the winners were the following 5th year students of the specialty “General Medicine”: 1. Toktarbekova K. 5319 group; 2. Kurmangazy A. 5319 group; 3. Isabekova D. 5309 group; 4. Satwik N. 5335 group; 5. Atam S. 5335 group. The winners were awarded with certificates.
