Duty Rounds in Student Dormitories

Duty Rounds in Student Dormitories

From October 21 to 22 and November 8 to 15, 2024, faculty members from the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, including Zh.E. Muzdybayeva, M.V. Goremykina, A.S. Botabayeva, G.K. Kalimoldina, Yu.V. Petrova, G.K. Kapanova, and M.B. Selgazina, conducted duty rounds at Dormitory No. 4 as well as the dormitories located at 6 Urankhaeva Street and 5 Bayseitova Street.

During the rounds, the team inspected student rooms and evaluated living conditions in the dormitories. The inspection revealed clean and warm rooms. Hot water is supplied to the shower rooms via water heaters, and household facilities, including washing machines, electric stoves, and refrigerators, were found to be in working condition. The inspections took place in the evening when students were engaged in preparing dinner, laundry, and cleaning their rooms in the shared facilities.

Faculty members also held discussions promoting a healthy lifestyle. It was commendable to note that medical students demonstrated a good understanding of the negative impact of fast food, carbonated drinks, and energy beverages. Many students actively maintain a healthy lifestyle and participate in sports and physical activities.

During these conversations, the faculty addressed all questions raised by the students. There were no complaints or concerns expressed by students regarding university administration.
