On November 16, 2024, the Toktamys Children’s Rehabilitation Center hosted an Open Day dedicated to World Prematurity Day and Pediatrician’s Day. This significant event aimed to support premature infants up to one year old and children with somatic diseases up to five years old, as well as raise public awareness about their health and rehabilitation.
As part of the event, free consultations were organized, allowing families to receive expert advice from qualified doctors on children’s health, mental, and motor development.
On this day, the following team of specialists conducted consultations:
Rehabilitation doctors: Yernar Yertuganuly Dairbekov, Yernar Alibek, and residents of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (1st and 2nd year).
Pediatric nutritionist: Jansulu Bektar Sergeldykyzy, assistant of the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation.
Pediatric surgeons: Ayauym Dauletkhanova, Araylym Kunantayeva, Nazerk Kerimtaeva.
Pediatric traumatologist: Yelzhan Ozakovich.
Pediatric nephrologist: Araylym Alibekovna Kapanova.
Pediatric gastroenterologist, allergist, psychologist, and speech therapist.
A significant role in organizing and conducting the event was played by the assistant of the department, Yernar Yertuganuly Dairbekov, and the residents of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The Open Day was not only a crucial step in providing assistance to children but also a platform for increasing parental awareness of modern methods of diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
The center’s specialists provided detailed recommendations on child care, shared insights on disease prevention, and introduced the latest approaches in rehabilitation.
