As part of academic mobility, jointly with the NCJSC “Astana Medical University”, lectures and seminars for postgraduate students (master’s students, doctoral students and residents) were held from November 25 to 29, 2024 at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the NCJSC “Semey Medical University” by Associate Professor, Research Professor of the Department of General Medical Practice with a course in evidence-based medicine Kasym Laura Talgatovna and PhD Associate Professor – Researcher Kusainova Asiya Abikhasovna on the topics “Rules for writing original articles”, “Literature review. Systematic review. Meta analysis”. The lecturers have publications in Q1 and Q2 journals according to the Web of Science database, shared their experience and features of writing and publishing articles. A seminar was also held for undergraduate students on the topic “Student research project: mission impossible (?)”, this seminar was attended by 2nd and 3rd year students of general medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, as well as activists of the university’s Student scientific society.
