In accordance with the approved plan, at the Department of Hospital Surgery, Anesthesiology and Reanimatology of Semey Medical University, with the participation of Zhamal Maultovna Iklasova, a specialist in production practice of the education quality control department, an open lesson was held on the topic “Acute pancreatitis” in the discipline “Surgery” for general practitioner interns of group 610 . PhD teacher, acting Associate Professor Auyenov Medet Auyenuly.The open lesson consisted of the following sections:1. Entrance test on the topic of acute pancreatitis (10 tests); 2. Analysis of the topic of acute pancreatitis (anatomy, physiology, definition, classification, clinical picture, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, conservative and surgical treatment, complications);3. Analysis of CBL (Challenge-based Learning) on the topic: “Acute pancreatitis and its complications.” It is a teaching method that promotes the participation of interns in the learning process. CBL allows interns to develop critical thinking, improve problem-solving skills, and learn to set goals;4. Result of the lesson – final testing (20 tests) and analysis of the clinical situation with patients in the clinic.At all stages, the interns actively participated and demonstrated their knowledge. Iklasova Zhamal Maultovna, an industrial practice specialist in the education quality control department, told the interns of the group that the lesson was conducted at a high level and wished the interns to become competitive specialists.Also the head of the department is Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Aimagambetov M.Zh., professors of the department are Doctor of Medical Sciences.
