On November 19, 2024, a seminar on the topic “HIV Prevention” was held among adolescents at the MSE on PVC  “Polyclinic № 3 of Pavlodar.” The event was conducted under the guidance of academic mentor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, and Acting Associate Professor Adilgozhina S.M. HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) remains a serious threat to public health. Prevention includes measures aimed at preventing infection and protecting health.

The seminar explained preventive measures, such as safe sexual behavior; using condoms; HIV testing; avoiding casual relationships; using new syringes and maintaining hygiene during medical procedures and tattoos; and antiretroviral therapy during pregnancy. Methods of HIV testing were also discussed. HIV prevention is everyone’s responsibility. Adhering to simple measures and timely testing can help stop the spread of the infection and protect public health.
