As part of the school of preventive medicine at Viamedis Pavlodar LLP, on September 18, 2024, under the guidance of an academic advisor, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor  Adilgozhina S.M. A “Master class on self-diagnosis of breast cancer” was held among the assigned population. Self-examination should be performed 7-10 days after the end of menstruation, when breast tenderness and swelling subside. If menopause has already established or menstrual cycles are irregular, this must be done once a month at any fixed time, outside of breast engorgement. The technique of palpation of the mammary gland was demonstrated while standing in front of a mirror, with hands raised on the head and lying on the back. Feedback was received: women palpated their mammary glands, demonstrating the material they had mastered.
