On December 17, 2024, the Pharmacology Department held a subject Olympiad “Best Student of the Pharmacology Department” in three languages of instruction, in which 3rd-4th year students of the School of Medicine took part. The Olympiad became a significant event in the academic life of students, bringing together more than 40 participants who demonstrated excellent knowledge and a deep understanding of the basics of pharmacology.
The main goal of the event was to identify students with the best knowledge in the field of pharmacology, as well as the practical application of pharmacological knowledge in medicine. Participants went through three stages: theoretical and practical, solving complex problems on the principles of action and use of drugs.
The Olympiad was held in a tense but friendly atmosphere, and the results exceeded the expectations of the organizers. The winners demonstrated not only a high level of theoretical knowledge, but also the ability to apply this knowledge in practice when solving clinical situations. Winners:
- 1st place — Tukinova Ghaliya, 4th year
- 2nd place — Kanat Medet, 3rd year, Bakytbek Ayaulym, 4th year
- 3rd place — Malekova Enlik, 4th year, Mekenbaev Daniyar, Rakhatkyzy Zhanerke 3rd year
The winners of the Olympiad were awarded diplomas and memorable prizes. All participants received certificates confirming their participation, as well as valuable recommendations from the head of the department for further development in this area.
The teachers of the department expressed special gratitude to the 5th year student Ashirbai Bekzhan, who prepared the tasks and conducted the event.
