uary 27, 2025, an open lesson on “Analysis of Quantitative Variables” was held for students of group 3337 from the Faculty of “ Medicine” as part of the course “Evidence-Based Medicine and Application of Statistical Analysis Methods.” The lesson was conducted by senior lecturer of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, PhD Gulbarshyn Darynkyzy Mukasheva.
The session was organized using the Team-Based Learning (TBL) approach, enabling students to actively participate in discussions and practical problem-solving. The TBL method allowed students to demonstrate independence, improve teamwork skills, and deepen their knowledge of the topic. During the lesson, students explored key methods of quantitative data analysis, their applications in medical statistics, and the interpretation of results.
Thanks to the interactive format, students were able to reinforce theoretical knowledge through practice, working in groups and analyzing real-world examples. The lesson received positive feedback from both students and colleagues who attended as observers.
