On February 10, 2025, a meeting was held between teaching faculty of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.K. Raisov with students of 1101, 1102, 1103, 1110, 1111, 1112, 1113, 2128 curatorial groups, dedicated to the topic of ludomania and gambling. The teacher of the department, P.S. Rakhimgalieva, told what gambling addiction is, its signs and consequences for human health and life. Students learned how gambling can develop into addiction and how it affects personal relationships, financial status and psychological health. At the end of the conversation, students noted the importance of raising awareness among young people, asked questions, showing interest in the topic during discussion.
