D.M. Suleimeneva, Head of the Department of Dental Disciplines and Maxillofacial surgery, organized the winter school “Problems of Dentistry” from January 13 to January 20, in which the faculty of the department participated. 24 students of 2-5 courses in the specialty “Dentistry” enrolled in the school. The teaching staff of the department, the coordinators responsible for the disciplines analyzed the results of the summer and winter sessions in advance and identified problematic issues, topics on which the students showed the weakest knowledge. In accordance with these results, a thematic plan on 10 topics and a syllabus have been developed. A thematic lesson and lecture plan was drawn up on these problematic issues and topics, selected as a result of the analysis of the session results and feedback from students. Every day, the faculty of the department gave lectures, conducted classes, consultations, and explained complex issues of problematic topics.
The audience was provided with video materials and lecture material. All participants actively visited and worked every day.
