On February 12, 2025, the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology held an open lesson on the topic: “Gastrointestinal pathology in patients with chronic renal failure” with the participation of undergraduate students, GP interns, and residents of 2 educational programs: Nephrology and Gastroenterology. Responsible lecturers – associate professors of the department Kapanova G.K., Shakhanov T.E. During the lesson, a clinical analysis of the medical history of a patient with gastrointestinal pathology due to ESRD was carried out. Students received additional scientific information about modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases in patients with terminal chronic renal failure.
During the lesson, practical recommendations for the management of patients with complicated forms of CKD were also given.
