Currently, teenage pregnancy is one of the pressing issues in society. In this regard, a special meeting was organized at the Menovnoe Secondary School in Ust-Kamenogorsk with the participation of assistants from the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch of SMU – M.K. Junusova, S.S. Akhmetova, Sh.D. Ensibaeva, R.N. Ibragimova, as well as interns from group 734.The main goal of the meeting was to educate students about reproductive health, the consequences of early pregnancy, and ways to prevent it. The doctor explained the importance of sexual literacy, physiological changes during adolescence, and their psychological impact The following topics were covered during the meeting: Health during adolescence – changes in the body and hormonal shifts occurring during this period.Consequences of early pregnancy – its negative impact on physical and psychological health.Sexual relations and responsibility – the importance of family values and making informed choices. Methods of pregnancy prevention – modern contraception methods and their proper use.Students had the opportunity to ask their questions and receive accurate and reliable answers from medical professionals. During the discussion, the importance of obtaining correct information from reliable sources and taking responsibility for one’s health was emphasized.In conclusion, it was noted that such meetings help increase adolescents’ sexual literacy and guide them toward making informed decisions. Informational events of this format play a significant role in preventing early pregnancy among young people and positively influencing their future.
