On February 14, 2025, a meeting was held between teachers of the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics named after Academician of the NAS RK T.K. Raisov with students of 1101, 1102, 1103, 1110, 1111, 1112, 1113, 2128 curatorial groups, dedicated to the topic of diagnosing suicidal behavior. Lecturer of the department Yessentayeva A.M., spoke about the key signs that may indicate a high risk of suicide, including changes in mood, behavior and communication. The event aimed to raise students’ awareness about the importance of understanding and monitoring their emotional well-being and to develop stress management skills.Special attention was given to the role of support from others. Students were reminded of the importance of not isolating themselves during challenging times and expressing their feelings openly.
