At the Department of Surgical Disciplines, classes in the subject “General Surgery” are held daily for third-year students. The curriculum includes the most relevant topics in surgery. The class consists of theoretical and practical parts. The head of the department, M.T. Kuderbayev, after discussing the topic with the students, visits the operating block of the City Hospital of Semey (BSMP), where he demonstrates the course of the operations. During the visit to the surgeries, students visually observe the work surgeons do daily to help patients recover.
