On February 28, 2025, the NCJSC, Semey Medical University, hosted the final event of the unique project “From equal to Equal” at the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases.
This project was aimed at creating conditions and opportunities for undergraduate students (3rd year «Medicine», 3412 group) to study with senior students (4th year «Medicine», 4219 group). As part of the initiative, undergraduates conducted classes on mastering practical skills in the pathology of the cardio-respiratory system. Undergraduate students learned the following practical skills: examination of the chest and heart area, palpation of the chest and heart area, percussion of the lungs and heart borders, auscultation of the lungs, heart and large vessels. This was an excellent example of cooperation between students and made a significant contribution to improving the quality of education.
Students and teachers who actively participated in the project were awarded certificates. We would like to wish our students success in their studies and new achievements.
The Peer-to-Peer project is not only an example of the transfer of knowledge and experience, but also a unique opportunity for students to support each other and create an atmosphere of trust and mutual assistance.
