From February 4 to 12, 2025, the “Winter School” for residents in the specialties of “Urology and Andrology аdult, pediatric” and “Cardiology adult, Pediatric” was held in a mixed format (offline and via the Zoom platform). The event was organized by the Department of Surgical Disciplines and the Department of Therapy.

The goal of the event was to jointly manage male patients with erectile dysfunction suffering from cardiovascular diseases to improve their quality of life. To involve residents from all branches of SMU, NCJSC, the school was held both online and offline.During the event, lectures were delivered on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of men with erectile dysfunction in the context of cardiovascular pathology. The aspects of non-drug and replacement therapy were also discussed.At the conclusion of the event, the Head of the Department of Surgical Disciplines, M.T. Kuderbaev, and the Head of the Department of Therapy, D.A. Mansurova, expressed their sincere gratitude to the staff and residents for their contributions to organizing the event. The school marked the beginning of close cooperation between the two disciplines for further collaborative work on improving the management of patients with erectile dysfunction who suffer from cardiovascular diseases.
