On 05.03.2025, at the Department of Public Health, together with the RSU “Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Abai Region,” a seminar was held in a mixed format for students of the specialties “Public Health,” “Public Health” and “Medical and Preventive Business.” The topic of the seminar: “Current technologies in the field of sanitary and epidemiological control and supervision.”

Speakers of the seminar, teachers Beisengazina M.B. and Isaeva A.K. familiarized students with the organizational and legal foundations of state sanitary and epidemiological supervision (GSEN), the structure of bodies of the GSEN RK, the main regulatory legal acts in the field of sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population.

G.M. Zhakiyanova, Head of the Department for Supervision and Control over Educational and Upbringing Facilities, provided information on the types of control and supervisory measures and the procedure for issuing materials for checking supervised facilities. The speaker elaborated on the investigation, a new form of government control.

Students received comprehensive answers to all questions. Conducting such seminars helps students master the methodology of state sanitary and epidemiological supervision in the field of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological requirements and standards.
