The event was organized by the head of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology, Professor Shaimardanov N.K., acting Professor Smail E.M., students of the curatorial 5318 and 5103 groups of the Faculty of General Medicine. The staff of the consultative polyclinic of the university hospital were invited to the class hour: head of the consultative polyclinic Nurlanova R.R., head of the physio department Adisheva M.S., pathologist Sytdykova L.K., pulmonologist Kabdullina R.O., ophthalmologist Omarbekova I.E., gynecologist Masalimova N.T., rheumatologist Berekenova A.M., nurse Ilyasova A.K.
During the class hour, the bachelors told about the history of the origin of International Women’s Day on March 8. This day was created in connection with the struggle of women for their rights. On March 8, 1908, the first women’s rally was held in New York, where women demanded equal rights. At the suggestion of Clara Zetkin, the holiday has been celebrated internationally since 1919. The students sang songs about March 8, read poems on the theme of the holiday, and presented gifts to the invited guests. At the end of the festive event, the guests congratulated those present on the spring holiday, wished future doctors to study well, master the practical skills of a doctor and worthily serve their chosen profession – medicine.
