On March 11, 2025, the Department of General Education Disciplines among the 1st year students of the University held a video contest “The Legacy of the Great Abai!” dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev. During the event, students were given another opportunity to touch the work and legacy of the Great Kazakh poet and educator Abai Kunanbayev in order to better understand his wise thoughts and enduring poems. The purpose of the competition was to help students convey Abai’s ideas in an understandable and fascinating way, visually present Abai’s philosophical thoughts and better understand Abai’s legacy.; develop teamwork and idea implementation skills and enhance the digital skills of future doctors.
The presented videos are posted on the Instagram page of the Department of Educational Institutions. The competitive works were evaluated by an independent jury, which included: Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing Temirshenova Sh.N., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, acting associate professor of the Department of general education disciplines Zhorokpaeva M.D., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, acting associate professor of the Department of general education disciplines Mussatayeva I.S. Competitive video materials were evaluated according to the following criteria: video content, culture of speech, the style of the design, the originality of the plot and the quality of the installation.
The authors of the best video: students of the 1505 Medicine group Ahmad Rather Ubaid, Muzammil Masood, Aslam Jasim were awarded a diploma of the 1st degree.
Isatai Ayim, a student of 1303 Dentistry group, and students of 1124 Medicine group, Kudiyarkhan Baktiyar, Bashirova Dilnaz, Zhumakhanov Ramazan, Aimkanova Amina, Macan Inkar, Kuanyshkyzy Shyrin, and Kayroldina Ayzere, were awarded 2nd degree diplomas.
The 3rd place was taken by the videos of the following participants: students of 1303 Dentistry group Zhukenov Yersain, Nakhatov Alibek, Rymbekova Balausa, Zholmyrza Ayazhan, Meiram Nurayim, Duisenova Dana, Makhsut Aruzhan, Soltangazina Nazgul and students of 1301 Dentistry group Berikbol Amina, Tchombalova Madina, Ziyadabek Togzhan, Aitkazin Mukhamediyar.
