From April 7 to May 16, 2025, as part of the academic mobility program, third-year students of the educational program “Dentistry” from the NCJSC “Astana Medical University” are undergoing training at the NCJSC “Semey Medical University”. The training is carried out according to the module “Pathology of hard dental tissues”.

For the purpose of organizational support of academic mobility, a meeting was held between the staff of the School of Public Health, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Nursing— deputy dean Zhumaeva G.A. and methodologist Muratbekova D.A. — with students who arrived from Astana. During the meeting, the students were familiarized with the academic policy of the Semey Medical University, as well as with the established rules for living in the dormitory.

The module program includes studying modern approaches to diagnostics and treatment of diseases of hard dental tissues, as well as active participation of students in practical classes. This will allow students not only to deepen their theoretical knowledge, but also to develop the necessary clinical skills that contribute to their professional development.

It should be noted that participation in academic mobility contributes not only to improving the quality of training of specialists, but also to the development of academic exchange and intercultural communication between regions.
