The mission of the educational program
The mission of the educational program “Adult and children’s Neurology” is to train a qualified specialist who is able to provide full medical care to the population dealing with pathology of the nervous system.
The acquired knowledge, skills and abilities, based on the principle of a patient-centered approach, will allow graduates of the residency to work professionally both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in the conditions of the PSMP, the neurological department of the hospital and, if necessary, in emergency departments, intensive care, rehabilitation.
Based on the principle of the trinity of education, science and clinic, neurologists will be able to plan, conduct scientific research with the publication of results, and transfer their experience to the medical community.
The purpose of the educational program
Training of qualified, competitive personnel who meet modern requirements for the quality of specialist doctors for independent work in the specialty “Adult and pediatric neurology”.
Qualification
The neurologist is an adult, a child (training period: 2 years).
Prerequisites for applicants
Basic medical education, higher medical education in the specialty “General Medicine”, “General medicine”, “Pediatrics”, internship.
