Nurtazina Alma Uakhitovna, graduate of SSMI in 1990 (diploma with honors). Completed clinical internship under the guidance of Prof. Pashchenko I.G. In 1995 she defended her thesis on the code 14.00.06 at the Kazakh Research Institute of Cardiology in Almaty under the guidance of MD Weber V.R. and MD Raisova T.K.
Doctor of the highest category in therapy, certificate in cardiology, certificate of specialization in echocardiography. From 1999 to 2001, she studied under the project for the development of primary health care in Kazakhstan, funded by the British Council and the World Bank, a diploma of a trainer in family medicine. In 2011 she graduated from the University of London with a diploma in epidemiology. In 2018-2019, she completed a one-year training in clinical epidemiology at Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA (certificate with encouragement).
In 2018, she completed a 2-month training in management and leadership at Nazarbayev University, a certificate. In 2018 – 2-week training in leadership in medical education at Duke University, USA, a certificate.
In 2018-19, she was the dean of the foreign department. In 2019-2020 – Director of the Department of Innovations in Science and Clinics.
In 2011 – Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, Wisconsin, USA – 3 weeks. In the 2014-15 academic year, she was a visiting professor at Nagasaki University (Nagasaki, Japan). In 2021 – visiting professor for 2 weeks under the Erasmus Plus program at Aydin University, Istanbul, Turkey.
In 2006 – the winner of the competition of the Conference of the Council of Rectors of Medical Universities of Central Asia on medical education, organized by AIHA, Abt, USAID. Awarded with a travel grant and participation in the international conference on medical education AMEE, Bern, Switzerland.
In 2021 – according to the results of the annual rating of research activities – “the best scientist of 2020”.
Winner of 2 research grants of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2015-2017 and 2022-2024.
Author of about 50 scientific publications, including 6 publications in the Web of Science and Scopus databases.
