Meyirbek Zhaksybekovich Aimagambetov

Born on 30.07.1962. Higher education. In 1982, after serving in the army, he entered the preparatory department of the Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute. In 1983, he was enrolled in the 1st year of the medical faculty of the SSMI. In 1989 he graduated from the medical faculty of the SSMI with a degree in medical science. After graduation, he completed a one-year internship at the surgical department of the Semipalatinsk Design Bureau. From 1990 to 1992 resident of the surgical department of the Semipalatinsk Design Bureau. In September 1992, he was enrolled in full-time postgraduate studies at the Department of Hospital Surgery of the SSMI, from which he graduated in 1995. From September 1995 to August 2002, assistant of the Department of Hospital Surgery. He has the highest qualification category in general surgery. In 1998 he defended his PhD thesis on the topic: “Surgical tactics for duodenal ulcer and its complications” specialty 14.00.27 – surgery. From September 2002 to September 2013, Associate professor of the department, head teacher. By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 10, 2004, he was awarded the academic title of associate professor in the specialty medicine. In 2009 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: “The effectiveness of minimally invasive surgical interventions in the treatment of cholelithiasis and its complications” in the specialty 14.00.27 – surgery, which was approved by the decision of the Committee for Control in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 31, 2010. From October 2013 to the present, Head of the Department of Hospital Surgery, Anesthesiology and Resuscitation. In 2021 awarded the academic title of professor in the specialty – Medicine. Author and co-author of 245 scientific papers, including 2 monographs, 1 atlas on gastric and duodenal surgery, 2 teaching aids, 1 methodological recommendation, 3 workshops on surgery, 27 inventions and 7 copyright certificates, as well as 29 innovation proposals. He has trained 6 Masters of Medical Sciences and 3 PhD doctors. He is the head of 4 doctoral dissertations.
