Accounting Department was established in 1953.
Ekaterina Sergeevna Kargina was the first chief accountant. Then, following persons were appointed to the position of the chief accountant: Nina Evgenyevna Kozhayeva, Taisiya Matveevna Pogodina, Marina Grigoryevna Bespalova, Nyasyp Tokashevna Akbarova and Yerkezhan Sayatovna Tursinkanbetova.
In 2017, Financial and Economic Department was reorganized into the Accounting Office.
Today, Kymbat Samatovna Rakhmanova is the Head of Accounting Office.
In their operation, accountants follow the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, budgetary code, law “On state purchases” and other accounting laws, regulations, decisions, orders, normative legal acts by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other higher bodies, financial and internal control bodies, regulating matters of organization of accounting process and preparation of reporting.
Accounting Office, in its operations, works with pedagogical, administrative, educational support and attending personnel regarding financial and economic activity of the university, stock-taking, accounting and reporting.
Staff of the department consists of highly qualified specialists, who are well-versed in tax and financial legislation, accounting and tax policy. Qualitative accounting and professionalism of an accountant is essential component of successful activity of organization.
