In connection with the preparation for the winter examination session of the 2019-2020 academic year, the staff of the School of Medicine – Dean Laura Pak, Vice-Dean Assem Uristemova and Methodologist Venera Istayeva organized a traditional meeting with students of the 3rd year of the specialty “General medicine”. The event was attended by the Head of the Internal audit service Almira Akhmetova, the Chairman of the Anti-corruption Committee Oksana Ussenova and the Director of the Department of academic work Aigul Zhunussova.
As part of the implementation of the anti-corruption strategy, Semey Medical University applies conceptual activities dedicated to the issues of integrity, academic honesty, openness in the activities of the University. Thus, students were re-acquainted with the current discipline Policy, Internal regulations, academic integrity Policy, the principles of “clean session”. Questions about the upcoming winter examination session, the rules of conduct during the exams were explained, as well as the topics of intolerance to any manifestations of dishonesty and offenses in the educational process were raised.
