In the period from October 12 to 19, the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies of the SMU, NCJSC hosted a subject Olympiad on the discipline «Communication skills». The Olympiad was attended by students of the 1st year of the specialty of “Dentistry”. The Olympiad consisted of III rounds.

Round I: Qualifying. The participants were given 10 test tasks of varying complexity with one correct answer (MCQ).

Round II: was held between the participants who passed the qualifying round. Participants performed two types of tasks: 1. Writing an essay on the topic “Communication skills in the work of a doctor”. 2. Working with the case. Round III: summing up and awarding the winners of the Olympiad. At the opening of the Olympiad, the head of the department, PhD, D. A. Mukanova made a congratulatory speech. According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners were determined:

I place – Shepovalova A. (1307 group);

II place – Zhanbai Zh. (1302 group), Serikkazina D. (1304 group).

III place – Slyataeva T. (1307 group), Beketov A. (1307 group), Belyantsev A. (1303 group);

The rest of the participants received certificates of participation in the Olympiad.

Each participant of the Olympiad was awarded with consolation prizes (a set of chocolates).
