The acquisition of sovereignty is the most important step for any state. For Kazakhstan, this historical event is forever associated with December 16, 1991, when state independence was proclaimed. Since then, December 16 of our republic has been a national holiday for the whole country and for each individual of Kazakhstan.
In connection with this event, students of the 5th year of 5320, 5319, 5335 groups of the Faculty of General Medicine, under the guidance of teachers from the Department of Infectious Diseases, held a solemn event on the theme “December events of 1986 – the trigger of independence.” The event was attended by students of all study groups, including interns and residents who took a cycle on infectious diseases.
During the event, the participants honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence. A video presentation of events and a chronicle of the formation of the independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was presented. The students also showed the scene of the trial of Kairat Ryskulbekov after the events of 1986. The event was held with musical accompaniment, student Ydyrysheva Yerkezhan performed kyui “Adai” on dombra, and Sybanbayeva Dana accompanied the song “Zhelsiz tunde zharyk ai” on kobyz, which was performed by a group of students (Asyltaev Erasyl, Tolegenov Mansur, Ugushev Madiyar).
In conclusion, they all sang the song “Atameken” together.
At the end of the event, Associate Professor Nuralinova G.I. made a closing speech, noting that our country has come a long way, striving for independence. There have been victories and defeats along the way. Numerous historical events took place. The December days of 1986 left a big imprint in the history of our republic, as well as in the hearts of each of us, and remembering this is the patriotic duty of every Kazakhstani. And the most important result of this difficult path is an independent Kazakhstan, which everyone today knows as a peaceful multinational state, confidently striving for further development and prosperity.
