Independence Day of Kazakhstan is the main holiday of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This Independence Day is designed to look back on the path already traveled. Without the past, it is difficult to appreciate the present and plan for the future.

The Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology together with the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases on 15.12.2022 held a joint event dedicated to this Day on the basis of the city Infectious Diseases hospital under the slogan “My independent Kazakhstan – the main milestones of the way”. The students of the study groups, the administration and the entire staff were present.

Students of the OM school 5320,5319,5335 groups from the cycle of infectious diseases and students of the 303 and304 groups of the stomatology faculty from children’s infectious diseases prepared a concert program of patriotic orientation: the anthem of Kazakhstan was played. Those present honored the memory of the victims of the December events with a minute of silence. Video material on the December events was presented, concert numbers were performed. The special spirit and mood of the event is the collective performance of the deeply patriotic song “Atameken”.

The event was aimed at further strengthening patriotism, confidence and pride in the country in which we live, study, work, develop and have the opportunity to realize the boldest ideas and desires. And at the same time, we all need to know and remember about the people who, without sparing themselves and their lives, brought us to today.
