The Indian guests visited the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies

On March 31, the Indian guests visited the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies. The visit traditionally began with Triage Learning Zone, where the guests were met by 2nd year group of foreign students and residents anesthesiologists-resuscitators. Students and residents have demonstrated BLS skills and clinical scenario of cardiac tamponade using Virtual Patient – BodyInteract.
After visiting the video observation room, the guests went up to the 2nd floor. Here they observed the process of neonatal resuscitation successfully performed by the residents- neonatologists. The guests had the opportunity to hear the heartbeat and auscultate the lungs using cardiopulmonary Harwey patient with the group of students No. 3519. Special interest was caused by LapSim endovideosimulator which was used by students of the foreign department to show their skills of using it. In addition, the guests watched the clinical scenario “Acute coronary syndrome” and use of ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support). First aid in epilepsy was demonstrated by the 301st group of the Faculty of Pharmacy.[/vc_column_text]
