Today, March 31, 2023, the history of the  “Semey Medical University”,has been replenished with a new significant event – the opening of a dental clinic. The clinic was established to develop the clinical competencies of undergraduate, internship and residency students in the specialty of Dentistry, as well as to provide emergency and planned dental care to the population of Semey and the Abai region.

At the opening ceremony of the dental clinic, the Chairman of the Board – Rector Dyusupov Altay  made a congratulatory speech. Among the guests of the event were MD, Professor M.K. Teleuov, Head of the health Department of the Abai region M.N. Sandybaev, Chairman of the Board – Rector of the  “Medical University of Karaganda”, NCJSC A.A. Turmukhambetova, Director of the branch of the  FSMS, NCJSC region Abai G.N. Abilov, as well as department staff and students.As part of the ceremony, a solemn ribbon cutting was held, which was conducted by Marat Nurlanbekovich, Marat Koishybayevich and Anar Akylbekovna, accompanied by a live orchestra and shashu.

The clinic is equipped with modern dental equipment, diagnostic devices, modern filling materials and tools. The clinic will have two surgical dental offices for adults and children, as well as two therapeutic dental offices for adults and children.

As part of the opening ceremony, two master classes were held on the topics of “Dental restoration” and “Dental implantology”, organized by the head of the Department of Dental Disciplines and CHLH D.M. Suleimeneva and the manager of the clinic A.T. Dzhanbaev. Responsible for the master classes were the clinic “Estet” Plotnitsky A. and Kandyba P. and the clinic “Montblant” Adilkhanov A.M. – implantologist surgeon and Kashibaev N.T. – orthopedic dentist.
