On March 29, 2023, on the basis of the  “Semey Medical University”, NCJSC the first among the country’s medical universities, a dissertation was defended in the form of a series of articles for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by Kusainova Asia Abikhasovna on the topic: “The relationship of serum levels of neurotransmitters and polymorphism of their genes with generalized anxiety disorder in patients with vitiligo” in the specialty 8D10102 – Medicine. The dissertation was carried out on the basis of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology of the  “Semey Medical University”, NCJSC. Scientific consultants of the doctoral student Akhmetova Almira Kalikapasovna – Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology of the  “Semey Medical University”, NCJSC and Kasym Laura Talgatkyzy – PhD, associate professor-researcher of the Department of General Medical Practice with the course of evidence-based Medicine of the  “Astana Medical University”, NCJSC .
