The study of languages for various purposes has been relevant everywhere and at all times.
On the initiative of the dean of the school for work with foreign students of Semey Medical University Balashkevich N.A. the “Russian speaking club” was opened for students who plan to continue their studies in the city of Semey or other cities and countries where knowledge of the Russian language is necessary for studying and communicating with patients. Students who wish to speak Russian can also take part. The organizers of this club are: Beleukhova K.M. – the teacher of the department of general education disciplines and Kovylina R.A. – the teacher of the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies
2 sessions have already been held. Participation is made by department teachers and local 1st year student volunteers who help foreign students learn the language. At the moment, the waters of language knowledge are being tested for further effective organization of such “Russian speaking club” sessions. It is planned to involve all departments of the university in their implementation so that there is an opportunity to cover more topics on medical topics.
