World AIDS Day is celebrated annually on December 1. This day aims to raise global awareness about HIV/AIDS and demonstrate international solidarity in the fight against this pandemic. On November 2, 2023, students of the 504th group of the Faculty of Dentistry conducted preventive measures to combat HIV and AIDS. Together with the curator of the group Kasenova Gulzhan Lesbekovna, they visited the College of Radio Engineering and Communications, where they informed students about HIV and AIDS, and also told about the ways of transmission, diagnosis and prevention of these diseases. At the end of the lecture, brochures were distributed, students’ questions were answered. To sum up, we, future doctors, feel an obligation to inform people about this disease in order to reduce the spread of infection. Remember, your health is in your hands!
