On November 24th, students from the 2312 group, specializing in Medicine, visited the Nevzorov Family Museum of Fine Arts. In this expansive two-story museum, we explored the extensive collection of artistic treasures from the Kazakhstan Fund.
The museum houses over 5000 exhibits spanning various genres, including Kazakhstani visual arts, Russian art from the late 18th to the early 20th century, Western European painting and graphics from the late 16th to the early 20th century, as well as art from Russia, Central Asia, Georgia, Armenia, and Belarus in the 20th century.
Naturally, works by Kazakhstani artists hold a prominent place in the museum’s exposition, with around 2000 pieces out of the 5000 exhibits representing Kazakhstani art. The majority of these works showcase the talents of local masters such as A. Kasteyev, S. Kalmykov, Shayakhmetov, Aitnaev, Sydykhanov, and Bapishev. The encountered artworks inevitably sparked genuine interest. The final hall was dedicated to our renowned compatriots, and we felt a sense of pride for our contemporaries.[/vc_column_text]
