The next Journal Club took place on 12/08/23 at the Department of Internal Diseases with residents of the Nephrology educational program. Topic of discussion: “Morphological diagnosis of glomerular kidney diseases.”

Residents of 1-2 years took part in the discussion under the guidance of an assistant of the Department of Internal Medicine, Ph.D., A.S. Botabaeva. Several case reports with effective treatment approaches have been presented. Emphasis was placed on the significance of morphological investigations for differential diagnosis. At the end of the discussion, Botabaeva A.S. summarized and structured all the information. Based on the results of the work, the participants formed brief algorithms that residents will use in their professional activities.

Working in the “Journal Club” residents gained experience in summarizing valid information and learned to create differential diagnostic algorithms.
