On January 25, the Department of Infectious Diseases, Dermatovenerology and Immunology held a seminar for students and residents of the NAO “MUS” on the topic “Diagnosis, treatment, prevention of measles”.

Made speeches. The epidemiology, clinical picture, treatment, prevention of the disease were highlighted by the speakers. The speakers stressed that vaccination is a decisive, affordable and effective method of fighting infection.
In Kazakhstan, there has been a decline in the incidence of measles over the last three weeks of January. Compared to December last year, it decreased by 8%.
To date, more than 70% of children aged 6-10 months have been vaccinated, as well as from 2 to 4 years inclusive, more than a million people have been vaccinated.
The seminar participants asked questions, which were answered and thanked the organizers of the event.
