In 2024, on February 7, a training seminar on the prevention of particularly dangerous infections was held at the Central Station in the Municipal State Enterprise “Emergency Medical Care Station of the City of Semey”. The participants of the seminar were medical workers (doctors, paramedics) of the Central Station of the Semey Ambulance Service.
Bachelors of group 5205 currently studying at the Department of Infectious Diseases, Immunology and Dermatovenereology took an active part in this training seminar.
The lecturers covered the epidemiological situation in the world, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, on particularly dangerous infectious diseases, such as brucellosis, anthrax, plague, cholera, hemorrhagic fevers, Covid-19, tick-borne encephalitis.
The second stage of the seminar was the practical training “Algorithm for the actions of medical personnel of service “03” when identifying a patient with AIO”, “The procedure for putting on and taking off an anti-plague suit”, “Rules for collecting material from a patient with AIO for laboratory research”. During the training, all steps of the algorithm of medical personnel when identifying a patient with OI were clearly demonstrated.
