Nutrition of children in the first year of life: modern approaches

The scientific rationale for optimal feeding of infants and young children is still a relatively new area of research in which new steps are being taken all the time. The special importance of nutrition in infancy is due to the rapid processes of growth and development of the child, the formation and improvement of basic biological functions. Metabolic disorders that occur during the irrational feeding of infants are a risk factor for the development of diseases such as obesity, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, anemia, impaired bone mineralization, allergies; as well as reduced intellectual and physical development of the younger generation. Nutrition issues should be known by every pediatrician, GP and be able to teach this to parents.

In order to structure information on the nutrition of children from birth to 3 years of age on 02.14.2024 in the KGP at the PCV “Polyclinic № 4 Semey” UZ OA for district general practitioners, resident doctors, interns-GP of the 7 th year, Candidate of Medical Sciences of the Department of OVP G.
