On May 13, the Department of Surgical Disciplines organized an intra-university subject Olympiad in the integrated discipline “The genitourinary system in the clinic”, which was held in the main building of the NJSC “MUS”. The teams that took part in the Olympiad were: “Adrenaline” 4224 GM, “Nefron” 4212 GM, 4213 GM, “Testosterone” 4127 GM, 4216 GM groups.
The Olympiad was opened with a welcoming speech by Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Diseases and Rheumatology Muzdubaeva Zh.E. and wished all the teams good luck. The Olympiad consisted of 4 stages. At stage I, the teams prepared a “Welcome” – introduction to the group, at the second stage “Warm-up” – the teams underwent group testing. The third stage took place in the form of a quiz “My game”, where various questions and tasks were presented on the topics of urology, nephrology and obstetrics – gynecology. At stage 4, participants showed their knowledge of nosologies in the form of solving situational problems. The creativity and knowledge of the teams was assessed by the jury: Associate Professor of the Department of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology Muzdubaeva Zh.E., Assistant of the Department of Surgical Disciplines Kusainov A.M., Assistant of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology named in honor of Kozbagarov A.A. – Sarkuchikova G.Zh.
Each team coped with the tasks at the highest level, each participant demonstrated their skills and acquired knowledge in the integrated discipline “The genitourinary system in the clinic.” According to the results of the Olympiad, the “Nefron” team took 1st place, the “Testosterone” team took 2nd place, and the “Adrenaline” team took 3rd place.
