International relations in the field of education are an important part of the foreign policy of the state. The development of a higher education institution presupposes the improvement of its international activities. International cooperation significantly enriches the activities of the university, expands the scope of interests and practical results in science, educational and methodological work, personnel training, and promotes the introduction of the team to world culture.

A delegation from Santosh University of India arrived at Semey Medical University to sign a memorandum between the two universities and further fruitful cooperation. On June 11, 2024, the delegation from India together with the rector of SMU visited the Department of Simulation and Educational Technologies to get acquainted with its activities. The visitors were given a tour and demonstrated the capabilities of the department. The Indian guests asked questions to students and faculty about educational activities and received answers.
