The best way to make children happy is to surround them with love, attention, warm them with the warmth of their hearts, teach kindness and beauty, and give them support in life.

On May 31, 2024, on the eve of Children’s Day, the Department of Pediatrics and Medical Rehabilitation named after D.M. Tusupova organized and held a festive event for patients of the Departments of Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology of the University Hospital of the Semey Medical University.

The event included various entertainments: children were happy to guess riddles, actively participated in a drawing contest, dance and song competitions, etc.

The costumes of popular cartoon characters, which were put on by resident pediatricians and resident neonatologists, caused a storm of positive emotions in children and their parents! The bright outfits of the cartoon characters added bright festive colors. Parents and children willingly took part in photo shoots, perpetuating the joyful moments of this day.

The holiday turned out to be bright and memorable. All participants – both children and parents – were delighted with the event. The celebration turned the children’s hospital routine into a real magic!

The University Hospital presented all the children with memorable gifts. The parents expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the amazing holiday! Thanks to such initiatives, hospital stays become less anxious and more joyful for young patients and their families.
