Students of groups 3302, 3303 in the specialty “Pediatrics” under the leadership of the head of the department of propaedeutics of childhood diseases Toktabaeva B.Zh. оn June 17, 2024, they visited the institution “Hospital of Palliative Care and Nursing Care in Semey” with the aim of developing the social activity of the younger generation. The head of the hospital, Apsalikov Rustembek Kazbekovich, warmly welcomed the students, introduced them to the structure of the hospital, the composition of the team and the profile of the patients.  Today there are 55 patients in the hospital who need special care. To provide palliative care, all possible conditions have been made for patients: a functional bed, anti-decubitus mattresses, bedside tables, walkers, a wheelchair, a call button near each patient, etc. The students then voluntarily provided patient care. They received a powerful emotional stimulus, joy and satisfaction from helping others.
