On 11.06.24, in the Ust-Kamenogorsk branch of the NAO “MUS” at the Department of Internal Medicine for interns of 1 year of study, a “Summer school” on the topic: “Ulcerative colitis” was organized on-line. The lecture by the lecturer of the department, Popovich Yu.G., highlighted the alternating views on the etiopathogenesis of the disease, clinical manifestations of the disease, including intestinal and extra-intestinal symptoms, considered the issues of invasive and non-invasive diagnostic methods, as well as treatment methods: non-medicinal, medicinal and surgical. The issues of therapeutic tactics depending on the activity and severity of the process are considered. At the end of the lecture, the questions given by the students on the topic of ulcerative colitis were discussed, and Popovich Yu.G. answered questions on the cycle “Modern tactics of managing patients with gastroenterological profile” to interns preparing for the summative exam.
